Our Heart for the Next Generation
At ÉGLISE, JÉSUS CHRIST, LE SEIGNEUR F.I.C.U., we believe that children and young people are not the future of the church — they are the church today. Our Youth and Children Ministry is designed to nurture their faith, develop their gifts, and equip them to walk with Christ throughout their lives.
Through creative Bible teaching, engaging activities, and meaningful mentorship relationships, we create an environment where young people can ask questions, grow spiritually, and discover God's purpose for their lives. Every lesson, every event, and every conversation is an opportunity to plant seeds of faith that will bear fruit for a lifetime.

Children's Ministry (Ages 4–12)
📖 Sunday School — Sundays at 9:00 AM
Our Sunday School program provides children ages 4–12 with a vibrant, interactive learning experience rooted in God's Word. Each class is age-specific and led by trained, caring volunteers who are passionate about children's spiritual development.
- Age-appropriate Bible stories and lessons covering key biblical narratives
- Interactive activities including crafts, coloring sheets, and creative projects
- Worship songs and praise time designed for young hearts
- Memory verse programs with achievement recognition
- Seasonal celebrations including Christmas pageants and Easter activities
- Small group discussions to encourage questions and personal application
🎨 Age Groups & Curriculum
Our curriculum is carefully selected to match each child's developmental stage:
- Little Lambs (Ages 4–5): Bible stories through puppets, songs, and simple crafts. Focus on God's love and basic faith concepts.
- Explorers (Ages 6–8): Interactive Bible lessons with hands-on activities. Children learn about Bible heroes, prayer, and God's plan for their lives.
- Discoverers (Ages 9–12): Deeper Bible study, group discussions, and service projects. Focus on building personal faith and understanding Scripture in daily life.
Youth Group (Ages 12–25)
🎸 Friday Night Youth — Fridays at 6:30 PM
Our Friday Night Youth gathering is the highlight of the week for our young people. It is a place where teens and young adults can be themselves, build authentic friendships, and grow deeper in their relationship with God.
- Contemporary worship — live music led by our youth worship team
- Relevant Bible teaching that addresses real-life issues teens face
- Small group discussions for open, honest conversations about faith
- Fellowship activities including games, food, and community building
- Guest speakers and special events throughout the year
🏆 Leadership Development Program
Our Leadership Development Program empowers young people to step into their God-given potential. Through mentorship, practical training, and hands-on ministry experience, we equip the next generation to lead with integrity, serve with humility, and live with purpose.
- One-on-one mentorship with adult leaders and pastoral staff
- Leadership workshops covering communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution
- Opportunities to serve in church ministries — from worship to outreach
- Community service projects that develop compassion and social responsibility
🌴 Annual Youth Events
In addition to our weekly programs, we organize special events throughout the year that bring our young people together for memorable, faith-building experiences:
- Summer Youth Retreat: A weekend getaway for worship, teaching, and outdoor adventures
- Vacation Bible School (VBS): A fun-filled week of Bible learning for children during summer
- Youth Service Sunday: Young people lead the entire worship service once a quarter
- Community Impact Day: Youth-led service projects serving Quebec City neighborhoods
