Sharing God's Love Through Action — Serving Quebec City with Compassion
Our Community Heart
At ÉGLISE, JÉSUS CHRIST, LE SEIGNEUR F.I.C.U., we believe that the church exists not only for its members but for its neighbors. Our community outreach programs are an expression of Christ's love in action — meeting practical needs, building genuine relationships, and creating a more compassionate Quebec City.
We serve without condition or expectation, following the example of Jesus who came not to be served, but to serve. Whether it is welcoming newcomers to Canada, caring for seniors, supporting families in need, or bringing the community together through joyful events, our outreach ministry reflects the heart of our faith.
We invite you to join us in making a difference — because together, we can do more.
Our Outreach Programs
Each of our programs is designed to address a specific need in our community while sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ.
Newcomer & Immigrant Welcome Program
Quebec City is a vibrant, multicultural city that welcomes newcomers from around the world each year. Our Welcome Program provides practical support for new arrivals — from cultural orientation and language assistance to community connections and fellowship. We partner with local settlement agencies to ensure that every newcomer feels at home and has access to the resources they need to thrive in their new community.
Senior Fellowship Program
Our seniors are treasured members of our community. Through monthly fellowship luncheons, regular home visits, and pastoral care, we ensure that older adults in Quebec City feel valued, connected, and supported. Our volunteers bring companionship, prayer, and practical assistance to seniors who may be isolated or in need of extra care. We believe that every person, at every age, deserves to feel loved and remembered.
Food & Essential Needs Support
In partnership with local food banks and community organizations, we help provide food and essential supplies to families and individuals facing hardship in the Quebec City area. Our church regularly organizes food drives, assembles care packages, and connects those in need with appropriate local services. No one should go hungry, and we are committed to doing our part to address food insecurity in our community.
Community Events & Celebrations
Throughout the year, we host community-wide events that bring people together in celebration and fellowship. From Easter and Christmas community gatherings to summer BBQs and neighborhood appreciation days, our events are open to everyone — regardless of faith background. These gatherings reflect our belief that church should be a place of joy, laughter, and genuine connection.
Prayer for the City
We believe in the transforming power of prayer. Our Prayer for the City initiative includes organized prayer walks through Quebec City neighborhoods, intercession for local leaders and institutions, and prayer vigils for peace and unity. We pray for Quebec City because we love this city and believe that God's hand is at work here in powerful ways.
